Heavy rainfall with high intensity and unstable soil conditions has caused a landslide on a retaining wall (TPT) which has blocked residents’ access road, said M Adam Hamdani, Head of Emergency and Logistics at the Bogor Regency BPBD, on Saturday (23/5/2026).

The incident occurred around 06:30 WIB. Two houses around the scene are at risk of damage.

“Two houses at risk, housing two families with nine people,” he explained.

The landslide measures about 5 metres long, 3 metres wide and 5 metres high. Adam said no houses have yet been damaged by the landslide material.

“There were no casualties and no evacuations,” he said.

However, the landslide material covers the residents’ access road in Kampung Nagoh Babakan. He has urged residents to evacuate immediately as rain approaches.

“Residents have already been advised to evacuate during rainfall due to fears of a secondary landslide. Further action from the relevant agencies is required,” he concluded.
