Land Fire in Pademangan Disrupts Train Services, 15 Fire Engines Deployed to Extinguish Flames

Officers from the Jakarta Fire and Rescue Department (Sudin Gulkarmat) worked to extinguish a fire in a reedland area in Kampung Bandan, Pademangan, Jakarta, on Monday (14/09/2026). The fire, which broke out at approximately 12:55 WIB, caused smoke to spread towards the railway tracks in the vicinity.

A total of 15 fire engines and 80 personnel were deployed to bring the flames under control. The thick plumes of smoke temporarily disrupted train services by reducing visibility for train drivers passing through the area.
