Land Fire Disrupts Rangkasbitung KRL Services
Electric Rail Train (KRL) Commuterline services on the Rangkasbitung route were disrupted due to a land fire near the tracks between Daru and Tigaraksa stations.
Management of KAI Commuter Indonesia (KCI) apologised for the incident.
“We apologise for the delay in Commuter Line services on the Rangkasbitung route due to a land fire near the railway tracks between Daru and Tigaraksa stations, which is currently being extinguished,” KAI Commuterline wrote via its thread account @commuterline on Wednesday (26/8).
KCI stated that Commuter Line services could operate using a single track alternately at the location.
“We urge passengers to follow the instructions and information from officers on the ground. Information updates will be provided as the situation develops,” KCI said.
Forty minutes later, KCI announced that the firefighting operation near the railway tracks between Daru and Tigaraksa stations had been completed.
“Commuter Line services can now operate on both tracks at limited speed,” KCI wrote.
