Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid is expanding the land title transfer service, known as balik nama sertifikat tanah, with a maximum completion target of 10 days. After being implemented at 17 land offices starting Monday, 17 August 2026, the programme will be extended to 24 additional land offices. Implementation at the 24 new land offices is targeted to begin on 24 September 2026.

Nusron said the service expansion is part of the transformation of services and organisation within the Ministry of ATR/BPN. “Today there are 17 offices, on 24 September there will be 24 offices. After that, I ask Mr Makarima (Head of the Bureau of Organisation, Governance and Risk Management of the Ministry of ATR/BPN) and Mr Asnaedi (Director General of Rights Determination and Land Registration of the Ministry of ATR/BPN) to add more, so that by the end of December there will be exactly 100 offices. So the transformation will, God willing, be completed next year,” Nusron said at the Launching of Service and Organisation Transformation at the West Jakarta Administrative City Land Office on Monday (17/8/2026).

Nusron explained that the 24 additional land offices will be spread across several regions of Indonesia. Some of the areas included in the service expansion target include Bogor, Bandung and Sidoarjo. “Perhaps included are Kendal, Sukoharjo, Sragen, Sidoarjo, Gresik, Pasuruan, Mojokerto. Here perhaps Bandung City, Bogor City/Regency, East Jakarta, all of Jakarta is included,” he told reporters after the event.

With this addition, the number of land offices implementing the land certificate title transfer service with a maximum completion target of 10 days will continue to grow. Nusron is targeting a gradual expansion to reach 100 land offices by the end of December 2026. The service transformation is then targeted to be completed in the following year.

Currently, there are 17 land offices that have officially implemented the land certificate title transfer service with a maximum completion time of 10 days. The 17 land offices are: West Jakarta Administrative City Land Office, North Jakarta Administrative City Land Office, South Jakarta Administrative City Land Office, Central Jakarta Administrative City Land Office, Surabaya City Land Office 1, Malang Regency Land Office, Semarang City Land Office, Semarang Regency Land Office, South Tangerang City Land Office, Batam City Land Office, Pontianak City Land Office, Samarinda City Land Office, Badung Regency Land Office, Buleleng Regency Land Office, Makassar City Land Office, Kupang City Land Office, and Depok City Land Office.
