Land Acquisition for Atlantis Store in Mataram Estimated at IDR 500 Million per Are

The Mataram City Government is preparing a budget of approximately IDR 3 billion to acquire land in the Atlantis Store area on Jalan Gajah Mada. Land prices in this location are estimated to reach IDR 500 million per are.

The Head of the Mataram City Public Works and Spatial Planning Department (PUPR), Lale Widiahning, stated that the land acquisition process is currently entering the study phase for contracting an independent appraiser. “We are currently conducting a study to contract an appraiser. Once the appraisal results are released, we will proceed directly with payment,” Lale said on Friday (31/07/2026).

The land in the Atlantis Store area is estimated to exceed 3 are, with land values projected at around IDR 500 million per are. Despite rising costs for various commodities, Lale confirmed that the land acquisition budget remains unchanged. The City Government continues to allocate approximately IDR 3 billion, which covers both the land and the value of the buildings situated upon it. “It remains at IDR 3 billion. At IDR 500 million per are, including the building value, the total will likely range between IDR 2.5 billion and IDR 3 billion,” she added.

Lale noted that the acquisition for the Atlantis site is targeted for completion within this year. However, the acquisition of adjacent land, specifically the former Fruit Store (Eks Toko Buah), will require further adjustment.

Previously, the Head of the Mataram Regional Financial Agency (BKD), Muhamad Ramayanya, stated that the land acquisition process was originally targeted for completion in April 2026, and administrative processes are currently ongoing within the PUPR Department. “The process is underway at the PUPR Department; once the correspondence and other administrative matters are cleared, we will proceed with the payment request,” Ramayoga said. He explained that the budget for this acquisition has been allocated within the 2026 Regional Budget (APBD) through the PUPR Department, and the appraisal process has been in progress since last year. Based on appraisal results, the area of the Atlantis Store land is estimated to be approximately 6-7 are. Additionally, the Mataram City Government is still processing the acquisition of the fruit store land located in the same area.
