Lampung's poor start fisheries

BANDAR LAMPUNG, South Sumatra: Poor families in Lampung have started farming fish and redeveloping neglected plots, in projects designed to assist those in need.

On Wednesday, the projects involving thousands of farmers in South Lampung regency, started with the symbolic scattering of 30,000 fish fry by Lampung Governor Oemarsono, Antara reported.

The ceremony took place in the Sidomukti village in the Tanjungbintang district. The project is part of government programs to help the poor.
