Lampung student slashes teacher

BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: Police are hunting a senior high
school student who hacked his teacher with a knife, seriously
injuring him Tuesday.

Police said the third grader of Wonosobo State High School,
whose name has been suppressed, lost his temper when offended by
advice from his teacher, Fathur Rozi.

The incident happened after Rozi summoned the student to his
office to reprimand him for misconduct.

The student chopped Rozi's right arm from behind as they
walked out of the room. The attack appears to have been
premeditated, Antara reported. (pan)
