The Lampung Regional Police (Polda Lampung) deployed 686 personnel to secure a series of working visits by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Lampung Province on Wednesday. “We have prepared an integrated security plan by deploying 686 personnel to ensure that the entire series of the President’s activities proceeds safely, orderly, and smoothly,” said Polda Lampung Head of Public Relations, Senior Commissioner Yuni Iswandari. Yuni explained that the personnel involved consist of 319 officers from Polda Lampung, including elements from the security control staff, regional security task force, Samapta Directorate, Traffic Directorate, Mobile Brigade Unit, and the Medical and Health Division. Meanwhile, a total of 367 personnel from regional precincts were also involved, comprising 267 officers from Bandarlampung City Police, three officers from South Lampung Police, and 97 officers from Pesisir Barat Police. According to Yuni, Polda Lampung and its ranks have made various preparations to support the smooth running of the President’s working visit in the region. “All personnel involved have been briefed according to their respective duties and responsibilities so that the security implementation can run optimally,” she said. “Security is being carried out both openly and covertly in accordance with VVIP security operational standards. All personnel are also required to act professionally, humanely, and continue to prioritise service to the community,” she added. Yuni added that the success of securing the President’s visit depends not only on the readiness of the security forces but also on the support of all elements of society in maintaining a conducive security and public order situation. “Synergy between the TNI, Polri, local government, event organisers, and community participation are important factors in making this state agenda a success,” she said. President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to inaugurate and inspect healthcare service facilities in Pesisir Barat Regency as part of the government’s efforts to improve public access to healthcare services. After completing the agenda in Pesisir Barat, the President is also scheduled to attend and open the National Conference of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association at the Novotel Hotel in Bandarlampung.
