Lampung Province Pushes Investment Growth Through Digital Licensing and Strategic Promotion
The Lampung Provincial Government, through its Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), continues to drive increased investment in the region through various strategic measures.
DPMPTSP Lampung Province Head Intizam stated that his office is actively conducting investment promotion at both national and international levels.
"Investment promotion is carried out actively through participation in strategic forums, both national and international. This is an important step to open up cooperation opportunities and attract investor interest in Lampung Province," he said when asked for comment on Thursday (17/7/2025).
According to him, one of the key innovations being pursued is the simplification of licensing processes through digital systems, including Online Single Submission (OSS)-based services.
"We are ensuring that all licensing can be accessed and processed easily and quickly through an integrated digital system," he added.
Intizam also revealed that the Lampung Provincial Government provides a number of incentives for investors, including facilitation of land provision and partnership support between major investors and local MSME operators.
"This partnership is important so that investment growth also has a direct impact on strengthening the community's economy," he explained.
The utilisation of digital technology is also a primary focus of the promotion strategy. Through social media, the official DPMPTSP website, and digital platforms such as the Lampung Investment Forum (FOILA), information about investment opportunities and advantages in Lampung is disseminated widely and transparently.
Additionally, cross-sector collaboration continues to be strengthened. DPMPTSP Lampung works in synergy with various parties, including the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Lampung Province, the Ministry of Investment/BKPM, and district/municipal governments throughout Lampung.
"As a policy foundation and reference for prospective investors, DPMPTSP also compiles comprehensive investment data and profiles," he said.
Investment realisation in Lampung Province in 2025 has reached only Rp3.3 trillion, against a target of Rp10.7 trillion. Foreign investment accounted for Rp651.6 billion, whilst domestic investment totalled Rp2.6 trillion.
