Lampung Hajj Ministry Ensures All Hajj Stages Run Optimally
Bandarlampung (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) in Lampung has assured that all stages of the Hajj pilgrimage implementation have been thoroughly prepared in the local area to run optimally. “The committee, along with various related agencies, has held the final coordination meeting, followed by a simulation of pilgrim services, to ensure all stages run optimally,” said the Head of the Lampung Kemenhaj Office, Ansori F Citra, in Bandarlampung on Wednesday. Kemenhaj Lampung, together with related parties such as Immigration, the airport, aviation authorities, and other supporting agencies, has conducted a simulation of the pilgrim service flow for prospective Hajj pilgrims departing for the Holy Land. “The pilgrim service flow simulation was carried out from departure at the Hajj dormitory, the transportation process to the airport, to the placement of pilgrims before departure,” he said. “One of the main focuses is the optimisation of the airport inspection process, such as the use of X-ray facilities, health checks, and inspection of pilgrims’ carried items,” he added. According to him, with the increase in the number of pilgrims in one flight group (kloter) to around 445 people, the service time calculation has been done in more detail to ensure all processes run smoothly and efficiently. “In terms of facilities, the Hajj dormitory has also been prepared with adequate capacity. Pilgrim placement will be focused on the Multazam Building and Grand Multazam, with support for rooms with a capacity of four people per unit. Meanwhile, the X-ray facility has now been installed in the new building to improve comfort and smoothness of the inspection process,” he said. Lampung’s Hajj quota this year totals 5,827 people, divided into 14 flight groups (kloter).
