Lamongan Regency Government Building Case: Ten witnesses questioned by the KPK in Gresik
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned ten people as witnesses in a case of alleged corruption in the construction of the Lamongan Regency Government Building, East Java, for the 2017–2019 fiscal year, to be examined in Gresik, East Java. ‘The examination of ten witnesses took place at the Gresik Police Resort (Polres Gresik), East Java,’ KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo told reporters in Jakarta on Tuesday. Budi said the witnesses comprised RT and EM, who served as land deed officials in Lamongan; OFA, a notary in Lamongan; GVA, a PPAT at the Lamongan Land Office; and FAT, a village official in Dlanggu. Then AR, a private party; MF, the Secretary of Bakalanpule Village; CA, a manager at Abipraya-Jaya Abadi KSO; AP, a staffer at Abipraya-Jaya Abadi KSO; and NA, the Director of CV Anugrah Dwi Perkasa. Earlier, on Monday (18/5), KPK had summoned six witnesses in the case: RMM, NS, PAE and DJA as PPATs in Lamongan; SNY, Head of BSP Plant Gresik at PT Varia Usaha Beton; and ARH, Director of CV Abdi Jaya Elektrik. Previously, on 15 September 2023, KPK announced it had begun investigating the alleged corruption in the Lamongan Government Building project for the 2017–2019 fiscal year, and had named suspects whose identities could not yet be disclosed to the public. According to KPK, the state financial loss in the case was estimated at around Rp151 billion. On 8 July 2025, KPK announced that the suspects in the case totaled four people. The anti-corruption agency then said it was calculating the actual state losses with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). On 29 January 2026, KPK announced it had received a report on the calculation of state losses from BPKP.
