Lamongan corruption detainee claims no state loss; KPK responds
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has responded to statements made by Herman Dwi Haryanto, the General Manager of Regional Division 3 of PT Brantas Abipraya, who is among the detainees in the alleged corruption case involving the construction of the Lamongan Regency Office between 2017 and 2019. The detainee has denied that there were any losses to the state. Speaking at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta on Tuesday (2/6), the Acting Director of Investigations at the KPK, Achmad Taufik Husein, stated that the results of routine audits by the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) could differ from the results of investigative audits conducted by the BPK at the request of KPK investigators.
