Lamongan Accelerates Construction of 55 Road Sections
The Lamongan Regency Government is accelerating road infrastructure development within the priority Jamula Mantap programme. Through this programme, the solidity rate of roads is targeted to reach 63.55 per cent this year.
This was stated by Regent Yuhronur Efendi during a surprise inspection of infrastructure on the Pelembon–Sugio and Jalan Pahlawan sections on Wednesday (8/4) afternoon.
According to him, the Jamula Mantap realisation this year is currently progressing. In its implementation, there are 55 regency road sections and strategic inter-district connecting sections being handled, with a total length of 35.1 kilometres.
Of that number, 29 sections have entered the on-site work stage, while the others are still in the tender or auction process.
“Through the implementation of the Jamula Mantap programme, we target the road solidity rate in Lamongan Regency to reach 63.55 per cent,” said the Regent, who is familiarly called Pak Yes.
He mentioned that road infrastructure development is carried out in stages, measured, and accountable, prioritising accuracy in quality, time, and targets. In addition to physical construction, the Lamongan Regency Government is also continuously optimising routine maintenance to maintain quality and the sustainability of road functions.
Several strategic road sections currently under construction include the Deket-Soko section, Mantup-Ayamalas section, Plaosan-Pucakwangi section, Dumpiagung-Sukobendu section, Gampang-Peti’in section, and Kedungpring-Sukobendu section.
In addition, the Laras-Liris section, Laren-Blimbing section, Mantup-Sambeng section, Menengai-Wates section, Merpati section, Ngimbang-Sambeng section, Pucuk-Sekaran section, Sekaran-Laren section, Soko-Dagang section, and others.
Meanwhile, road sections still in the tender process include the Dradah Kedungpring section, Veteran section, Bluluk-Sukorame section, Tikung-Sumberkerep section, and Dradah-Bluluk section.
Also the Tanjung-Songowerang section, Kendalkemlagi-Latukan section, Plembon-Sugio section, Mojorejo-Jegreg section, Sidokumpul-Tanjungmekar section, Sumberdadi-Sumberkerep section, and others.
“On behalf of the government, we invite the entire community to jointly support the smooth running of this development as part of efforts to strengthen connectivity, accelerate economic growth, and improve welfare,” he added.
