Lamborghini of Mining Boss Hidden in Alley Seized by Attorney General's Office

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has seized a Lamborghini linked to a suspect in a corruption case involving illegal mining business permits (IUP) for PT QSS in West Kalimantan. The luxury car was discovered hidden in an alley, with its keys thrown into a ditch in an attempt to deceive investigators. The case began when PT QSS, a bauxite mining company, was acquired by suspect Sudianto, also known as Aseng, along with another suspect, YA. Despite holding an official permit for a specific area, PT QSS conducted mining operations outside its licensed territory. The illegally mined bauxite was subsequently sold and exported using PT QSS’s official documents, including its IUP-OP, work plan and budget (RKAB), and export approval recommendations. According to the Head of the Attorney General’s Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, there is also evidence of bribery in the processing of these documents. Suspect IA allegedly communicated with and provided money to a state official, HSFD, an analyst at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. During the operation to recover state losses, conducted between 11 and 16 June 2026, investigators seized the red Lamborghini Huracan, a 2022 model, which had been parked on the side of an alley in West Kalimantan and covered with a red cloth. The vehicle has since been transported to Jakarta and officially sealed. In addition to the supercar, authorities confiscated 46 dump trucks, dozens of heavy equipment units, four plots of land with buildings, two vacant plots in Pontianak, and eight gold bars weighing a total of 8 kilograms from the home of another suspect, AP, a director of PT QSS.
