Lamborghini Key Thrown into Drain: AGO Thwarts Suspect's Attempt to Hide Luxury Car
The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has uncovered an attempt by a suspect to hide assets, specifically a Lamborghini Huracan luxury car, during an ongoing investigation. The car was stored in an alleyway, while the keys were intentionally thrown into a drain or ditch to prevent officers from easily finding them.
Nevertheless, investigators successfully located and seized the vehicle as part of an effort to recover assets suspected to have originated from criminal activities.
The Head of the Legal Information Centre (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General’s Office, Anang Supriatna, stated that the 2022 Lamborghini Huracan is an asset belonging to the suspect, Sudianto, also known as Aseng.
Lamborghini Hidden in an Alleyway
Anang explained that the seizure took place while the investigative team was conducting searches in the West Kalimantan region between 11 and 16 June 2026. During the search process, investigators discovered the Lamborghini, which had been intentionally hidden in an alleyway.
Furthermore, the suspect is alleged to have discarded the vehicle’s keys into a ditch in an attempt to hinder the seizure.
“During the search within the West Kalimantan legal jurisdiction, the investigative team found assets belonging to Suspect SDT, alias Aseng, including several vehicles, one of which is a 2022 Lamborghini Huracan, which had previously been hidden in an alleyway, with the car keys thrown into a ditch,” Anang said in a written statement on Friday, 3 July 2026.
Seizure to Safeguard Assets
According to Anang, the seizure was carried out because these assets are suspected to be the proceeds of criminal acts currently being investigated by the Attorney General’s Office. This action is part of an effort to safeguard assets to ensure they are not transferred or hidden while the legal process is underway.
“This search and seizure were conducted as part of an effort to safeguard assets suspected to be the results of criminal acts committed by Suspect SDT, alias Aseng, or his affiliates,” Anang added.
Eight Kilograms of Gold Also Seized
In addition to seizing the Lamborghini Huracan, investigators also conducted searches at the residence of an individual affiliated with the case, namely suspect AP, who serves as the Director of PT QSS. From that location, investigators found a pile of precious metals, which were subsequently seized as evidence.
“Investigators also seized eight bars of gold bullion with a total weight of 8 kilograms,” said Anang.
Alongside the Lamborghini and gold bars, the Attorney General’s Office also seized several other assets suspected to be related to the case.
