Lahat District Police Chief Leads Ketupat Musi 2026 Security Operation Deployment

In preparation for the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah celebrations, the Lahat District Police conducted a security operation deployment ceremony for Operation Ketupat Musi 2026. The ceremony was held on 12 March 2026 at the Lahat Regional Government office grounds and served to demonstrate the readiness of personnel and infrastructure to maintain public safety and comfort during the Eid festivities.

The ceremony was led by Lahat District Police Chief AKBP Novi Edyanto SIK.MIK and attended by the Lahat Regent represented by Regional Secretary Candra SH, representatives from the Coordinating Agency for Politics, Law and Security (Forkopimda) of Lahat Regency, operational commanders from the District Police, sectoral police chiefs, officers and non-commissioned officers.

In his remarks, the District Police Chief emphasised the importance of coordination amongst all personnel in carrying out security operations. Operation Ketupat Musi 2026 is an annual agenda implemented to ensure that public order and security remain conducive during the exodus to hometowns, the Eid celebrations, and the return journey of the community.
