The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has assured that complaints regarding holiday allowances (THR) will not be left lingering in administrative desks but will be followed up intensively. This was stated by Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli.

“Amid the still high reports of 2026 THR payments, Kemnaker requests that labour inspectors at the central and regional levels move quickly to examine every complaint so that workers’ rights are promptly fulfilled,” said Yassierli, as quoted from Antara on Thursday, 26 March 2026.

Menaker also asked governors to immediately deploy labour inspectors to follow up on every report received through the Kemnaker THR Post or posts at labour offices. “The state must not allow workers’ complaints to pile up without certainty of resolution,” Yassierli stated.

In addition, Yassierli said that labour inspectors at Kemnaker and Provincial Labour Offices are moving quickly to examine reports, carry out follow-ups according to their authority, and ensure that companies fulfil their obligations to workers. According to him, supervision must not stop at data collection but must lead to tangible resolutions.

These steps, he continued, are being taken because complaints about 2026 Eid THR payments remain high. Therefore, field supervision is deemed necessary to strengthen so that every report progresses to examination, correction, and resolution that provides certainty for workers.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Labour Supervision Development and Occupational Safety and Health at Kemnaker, Ismail Pakaya, said that follow-up supervision on THR complaints continues to run.

From all reports received as of 25 March 2026 at 15:00 WIB, 200 Performance Inspection Result Reports, 7 Inspection Notes I, and 4 recommendations have been issued. Additionally, 1,461 cases are still in the handling process, while 173 cases have been declared completed.

“These data show that incoming complaints are continuously monitored to ensure they result in the fulfilment of workers’ rights. Therefore, labour inspectors will continue to oversee all reports until there is a concrete, measurable resolution that provides certainty for workers,” said Ismail.

He also urged companies to immediately fulfil their obligations without waiting for warnings or the arrival of labour inspectors. Ismail assessed that compliance in paying THR on time and in accordance with regulations is a form of corporate responsibility towards workers’ rights.
