Jakarta (ANTARA) - Labour Minister Yassierli stated that the National Vocational Training 2026 Phase 2 programme across various regions will expand competency access for young job seekers.

“The training is designed to make vocational training more widely accessible and closer to residents’ locations, allowing participants to attend without distance or location constraints,” the Minister said in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) will implement the National Vocational Training 2026 Phase 2 through Large Vocational and Productivity Training Centres (BBPVP), Vocational and Productivity Training Centres (BPVP), Service Units (Satpel), and Local Technical Implementation Units (UPTD) in multiple regions.

“We are conducting the 2026 Batch 2 National Vocational Training at BBPVP, BPVP, Satpel, and UPTD across regions to ensure even access. This batch targets 30,000 participants,” Yassierli said.

He added that the programme covers various parts of Indonesia through Kemnaker’s Central Technical Implementation Units (UPTP) network.

The implementing UPTPs include BBPVPs in Bandung, Bekasi, Makassar, Medan, Semarang, and Serang, and BPVPs in Ambon, Banda Aceh, West Bandung, Bantaeng, Banyuwangi, Belitung, Kendari, East Lombok, Padang, Pangkep, Samarinda, Sidoarjo, Sorong, Surakarta, and Ternate.

Phase 2 of the National Vocational Training is also supported by Satpels in Bengkulu, Lampung, Sofifi, Kupang, Bantul, Jambi, Lubuk Linggau, Majene, Mamuju, and Palu.

Additionally, the programme involves BLK Job Training Centres in various regions, with BBPVP and BPVP Kemnaker serving as technical overseeing units.

Registration for the National Vocational Training 2026 Phase 2 is open via the SIAPkerja and Skillhub Kemnaker portals until 9 June 2026.

Following registration closure, candidate selection will take place between 10-17 June 2026, with results announced on 18 June 2026.

The kick-off and orientation phase for the programme is scheduled for 22 June 2026.

Successful candidates will receive benefits including free training and lunch, transport assistance, BPJS Employment (JKK and JKM) coverage, training and BNSP competency certificates, and dormitory facilities for eligible participants.
