Semarang (ANTARA) - Labour Minister (Menaker) Yassierli inspected the implementation of the National Internship Programme at an art gallery in Semarang City, Central Java, on Tuesday. “We are looking at a different perspective related to the creative business industry,” said Labour Minister Yassierli while inspecting the National Internship Programme at the Tan Artspace Semarang art gallery. According to him, the internship programme is one of the unique ones because it is an initiative in the creative business sector. Over six months, he continued, the internship participants gain experience, enlightenment, and improved competence. “This programme is designed to prepare them for work,” he said. He appreciated the industrial sector and the participants who joined the National Internship Programme. He stated that the enthusiasm of the programme participants is quite good as a programme that is being implemented for the first time. The Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker), he continued, is preparing plans for the National Internship Programme for 2026. “It is being prepared in line with last year, hopefully it can increase,” said the Labour Minister. He added that the number of National Internship Programme participants last year was around 100,000 people.
