Jakarta (ANTARA) - Labour Minister Yassierli has assured that he will oversee the certification process for participants in the National Internship Programme (MagangHub Kemnaker) Batch I, which will run for the next two months. This monitoring aims to ensure that participants truly benefit from the National Internship Programme. “So, it’s not just that Batch I ends and then it’s over, they disperse. But we at the Ministry of Manpower will oversee the certification for the next one to two months,” Yassierli told reporters at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs office in Jakarta on Thursday. The Labour Minister stated that details of the certification programme will be announced tomorrow, Friday (24/4), so participants can see certification options relevant to their fields of expertise. “While some have already been accepted at workplaces, the data will follow, some are still looking for job vacancies, and in parallel with that, we are preparing the certification scheme from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP),” the Labour Minister explained. As the National Internship Programme Batch I concludes, the Ministry of Manpower is evaluating the programme’s implementation based on feedback from participants and the general public. Yassierli mentioned that sanctions have been imposed on companies violating regulations, such as work hour provisions and the scope of work for internship participants. The sanctions given range from warnings to blacklisting.
