Labour Minister Emphasises Quality and Accessibility of Employment Services

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Labour Minister Yassierli has emphasised the importance of improving the quality and accessibility of public services at the Ministry of Manpower to make them easier for the public to access. In his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday, Yassierli said that services such as Job Loss Guarantee (JKP), job training, and the labour market are the main focus to enable workers to receive services optimally. According to him, these services must be accessible quickly, easily, and responsively because they directly relate to public needs. Therefore, enhancing service quality is a serious concern for the entire Ministry of Manpower apparatus. “I want services to be free of problems. The conditions are indeed not easy, and I do not want there to still be problematic services and applications that are down, or contact information that cannot be reached,” the Labour Minister stated. In the current economically challenging situation, he said the state is required to be present through reliable and easily accessible services. Therefore, Yassierli asked all work units within the Ministry of Manpower to strengthen coordination and improve internal working methods so that services to the public do not operate independently. He emphasised that one public service often depends on support from many units, so improvements must be carried out collectively. In addition to strengthening coordination, Labour Minister Yassierli also encouraged more efficient, environmentally friendly, and energy-saving work patterns. According to him, internal improvements need to be made in line with ongoing global challenges, from economic pressures to energy crises in several countries. For Yassierli, this situation must serve as a reminder that the quality of public services must not decline.
