Labour Day: Jakarta's Mobile SIM Services Suspended

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate is suspending mobile Driving Licence (SIM) services today, Friday, 1 May 2026, coinciding with Labour Day commemorations. “On Friday, 1 May 2026, services at the Daan Mogot Traffic Police Station, DKI Jakarta Traffic Police Unit, DKI SIM Kiosk Unit, and mobile SIM units will be closed,” stated the official @TMCPoldaMetro account on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday. Mobile SIM services will reopen tomorrow, Saturday, 2 May 2026. Holders of SIMs expiring on 1 May 2026 may renew them on 2 May 2026 via the standard renewal mechanism.
