La Ode Safiul Akbar's documents declared complete for Kosgoro chairmanship race
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The documents for La Ode Safiul Akbar as a candidate for the General Chairperson of the Collective Central Leadership (PPK) of the Kesatuan Organisasi Serbaguna Gotong Royong (Kosgoro) 1957 for the 2026–2031 period have been declared complete.
The Coordinator for Registration and Verification, Mascot Siregar, stated in Jakarta on Friday that the committee has received files from two potential candidates for the Kosgoro chairmanship: Sari Yuliati and La Ode Safiul Akbar.
Candidate Sari Yuliati submitted her registration form on Thursday (4/6) at the Kosgoro 1957 Secretariat, while La Ode Safiul Akbar returned his form this Friday.
“The stage for returning chairman candidate forms officially closed at exactly 11:00 WIB,” he said.
The documents have been received and will now enter the verification and validation process to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data in accordance with the criteria established at the V Kosgoro 1957 Grand Assembly (Mubes).
Mascot noted that candidates are required to submit an administrative fee of Rp100 million. However, as of the closing deadline, Sari Yuliati has not yet submitted the administrative fee.
The committee is fully committed to maintaining integrity, neutrality, and professionalism throughout the verification stages to ensure the emergence of a legitimate leadership for PPK Kosgoro 1957 for the next five years.
Mascot urged all parties to remain calm and objective. Currently, the fulfilment of administrative requirements for each candidate is still undergoing examination.
He added that forms of support cannot yet be considered a legal certainty for the organisation, as all written support documents must still undergo a strict verification and validation process by the committee.
“We hope that all members and related parties can exercise restraint and not get caught up in misleading opinions, suggesting that a victory has already been absolutely achieved,” he said.
