Kyai Haji Ma'ruf Amin Serves as Khatib for Eid Prayer at Jakarta City Hall

The Eid prayer commenced at 06:30 WIB, with Kyai Ma’ruf beginning his sermon around 06:50 WIB. The prominent Nahdlatul Ulama leader, dressed in all white, delivered the sermon until 07:11 WIB. Meanwhile, around 2,000 worshippers filled the courtyard of Jakarta City Hall to perform the Eid prayer. A number of senior DKI Jakarta provincial government officials, from Governor Pramono Anung, Deputy Governor Rano Karno, Secretary General Uus Kuswanto, to several former officials, also attended the moment of gratitude for the completion of Ramadan worship. After delivering the sermon, Ma’ruf Amin, along with the provincial officials, greeted the worshippers.
