The Judicial Commission (KY) has conducted hearings for eight judges before the Honour Council of Judges (MKH). Two of them are judges at the Central Java High Court (PT Jateng) who were proven to have accepted bribes and were dishonourably discharged, yet will still receive their pensions.

“The fifth MKH hearing, on Monday, 25 May 2026, was held against judge ASS, a high judge at the Central Java High Court previously at Cilacap District Court, with a ruling of permanent dismissal with pension rights for being proven to have accepted bribes,” said KY Head of Judge Supervision and Investigation, Abhan, during a press conference at the KY Building in Central Jakarta on Thursday (30/7/2026).

Not only ASS, Abhan also mentioned that a judge with the initials IWS was proven to have accepted bribes. However, IWS will still receive a pension.

“Then the sixth MKH hearing was held on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, against the reported judge IWS, currently a judicial judge at the Central Java High Court, for being proven to have accepted bribes. Therefore, the reported judge was dismissed with pension rights,” he stated.

Furthermore, Abhan said that the KY and the Supreme Court (MA) had held seven Honour Council of Judges hearings in the first semester of 2026. The first MKH hearing was held against the reported judge DD, a judge at Kraksaan District Court seconded to the Surabaya High Court, on 2 March 2026, with a sanction of permanent dismissal with pension rights for being proven to have abandoned his child and wife.

The second MKH hearing was held against judge LTS, a judicial judge at the Central Sulawesi High Court, and judge DW at Sabang District Court for being proven to have committed adultery.

“LTS was sanctioned with permanent dismissal with pension rights, and DW was sanctioned with a non-gavel role for two years,” he explained.

Subsequently, the third MKH hearing was held against the reported judge AJK, a judicial judge at the Central Sulawesi High Court, on 10 March 2026. He was removed from his position as a judge for assaulting his child in 2023.

“Then the fourth MKH hearing was held on Monday, 25 May 2026, against the reported judge YM, a judicial judge at the Makassar High Court previously at Sengkang District Court, who was dishonourably discharged for being proven to have accepted bribes,” he said.

“Lastly, judge SW, a judicial judge at the South Jakarta District Court previously the Head of Kudus District Court, was dishonourably discharged for being proven to have received Rp 2 billion and involved in case brokering during a hearing on Tuesday, 23 June 2026,” he added.
