JAKARTA – PT KVB Futures Indonesia has officially launched the Market Connect 2026 series, an educational roadshow to be held in a number of major cities throughout the year. The programme forms part of the company’s efforts to improve futures trading literacy while encouraging safe, regulated and responsible trading practices.

Jakarta is the first city to host Market Connect 2026. The event featured discussions on regulation, risk management, technology and global market dynamics, involving regulators, industry practitioners and educators in the futures trading sector.

Through the event, participants gained an understanding of the importance of building trading activities grounded in education and risk management.

The staging of Market Connect 2026 is considered relevant amid the public’s growing need for financial education and consumer protection. According to data from the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) as of June 2026, more than 608,000 fraud cases have been reported, with more than 557,000 related accounts successfully blocked.

Through the educational programme, KVB Futures Indonesia encourages the public to understand the importance of transacting through regulated platforms, applying risk management and making trading decisions based on adequate knowledge.

Director of PT KVB Futures Indonesia, Tonny Fong, said the growing public interest in trading and investment must be matched with adequate education.

“We see public interest in trading and investment continuing to grow. That is why education is an important foundation so that people can understand risks, recognise market characteristics and transact through legal platforms supervised by regulators. PT KVB Futures Indonesia is present not only as a trading service provider, but also as an education partner committed to delivering services that are safe, transparent and regulated, supported by technology to help traders make the right decisions,” said Tonny.

On the same occasion, Suresh Mookiah explained the role of the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) in safeguarding the integrity of the futures trading industry while providing protection to the public.
