Kuwait Confirms Iranian Attack Damages Power Plant and Desalination Factory

Kuwait’s Ministry of Energy has confirmed that Iran attacked services at its power plant and water desalination factory. One person was reported killed in the attack. “A service building at the power plant and water desalination factory was attacked as part of Iran’s aggression against the State of Kuwait, resulting in the death of an Indian worker and significant material damage to the building,” said spokesperson for the Ministry of Energy, Fatima Abbas Jawhar Hayat, as reported by detikNews from AFP on Monday (30/3/2026). In a statement, the Quds Force described the US-Israel attacks on Iran that began on 28 February as violations of international law and humanitarian values.
