Kuwait City — The Kuwaiti Cabinet has announced the official Eid Al-Fitr holiday schedule, with dates dependent on the duration of the holy month of Ramadan, according to KUNA.

According to a report from Times Kuwait on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, if Ramadan lasts 30 days, the holiday will run from Thursday, 19 March 2026 through Monday, 23 March 2026. Government offices and public institutions will resume operations on Tuesday, 24 March 2026.

However, if Ramadan lasts 29 days, the holiday will run from Thursday, 19 March 2026 through Sunday, 22 March 2026, with work resuming on Monday, 23 March 2026.

The final duration of the holiday will be confirmed based on the official hilal sighting results that mark the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid Al-Fitr.

In Indonesia, the government typically establishes Eid Al-Fitr holidays in accordance with decisions from the Islamic court rulings held by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. According to the government’s Hijri calendar, Eid Al-Fitr is estimated to fall on 21–22 March 2026, though the exact date remains pending the outcome of the Islamic court ruling. The Ministry of Religious Affairs is scheduled to hold the Islamic court session on 19 March 2026.
