Kustomfest attracts 26,000 visitors over two days
Jakarta (ANTARA) – Kustomfest 2026, a custom-culture festival, attracted 26,787 visitors over its two-day run on 10–11 October at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC) in Yogyakarta.
“The two days of our Kustom Lebaran celebration show that the spirit of custom culture is still alive. With the theme ‘High Octane’, Kustomfest hopes to provide fuel for new energy, enabling people to continue producing quality work and gain broader insights into Indonesia’s custom scene, including builders, artists and supporting industries,” Kustomfest Director Lulut Wahyudi said in an official statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
He added that the exhibition featured not only custom vehicles and modification competitions, but also social activities and messages promoting environmental awareness.
On the second day, the Rollin Waves Ride for YK event was joined by Yogyakarta Mayor and hundreds of custom motorcycles. The group departed from Yogyakarta City Hall and rode to JEC, where donations worth Rp1.027 billion were handed over to help disadvantaged communities and children continue their education.
In the Kustom Bike Show competition, Ajies Sabara of F.Art 32, from Bangkalan, Madura, won the top award with a boardtracker-style motorcycle combining chrome and wood details. The bike also received several other awards, including Kustom Bike Show Nitro Head-Free for All and Best of Honda.
Avan Surya of 02_Garage, from Semarang, won the Hot Rod & Kustom Car Show category with a Chevrolet C10 Custom, which received the Best Pick Up award.
Lulut said Ajies’s victory demonstrated the ability of regional builders to produce creative work despite limited access to supporting components.
The flat-track arena hosted competitions in several classes, from horizontal- and vertical-engine categories to Star Racer, Electric Unicycle and scooter events. Dewa Ditha from Bali and Lippo from Blitar stood out after winning in several classes.
This year, Kustomfest 2026 also again supported small and medium-sized businesses by involving 93 vendors: 46 indoor vendors, 22 outdoor vendors and 25 food and drink vendors.
