Kupang DPRD Member Caught with Paramour Not Subject to Interim Replacement
Member of the Kupang Regency DPRD, Hengky Febrianus Loden, has been dismissed from his position as Chairman of the PBB party’s branch leadership council (DPC). However, Hengky has not yet undergone an interim replacement (PAW) as a council member.
The dismissal as PBB DPC Chairman is related to the case involving him, namely being caught with his paramour in a rented house in Oebufu Ward, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), on Sunday (29/3/2026) around 01:00 WITA.
“Yes, that’s correct. He was deactivated on Thursday, 2 April 2026,” said the Chairman of the PBB NTT Regional Leadership Council (DPW), Saktico Masneno, to detikBali on Sunday (5/4/2026).
Saktico explained that after the dismissal, the position of PBB DPC Chairman for Kupang Regency remains vacant. The DPW PBB NTT plans to hold a meeting soon with DPW, DPC, and sub-branch (PAC) officials across NTT to determine an acting head (Plt).
“For now, it’s still empty. After the Easter holidays, we will hold a meeting to determine the Plt together with the DPW, DPC, and PAC officials,” explained the son of former Kupang Regent Korinus Masneno.
Nevertheless, Saktico emphasised that they have not yet taken a stance on conducting an interim replacement (PAW) for the cadre involved in the immoral violation. He reasoned that the case is a personal or household matter, and the party is only encouraging it to be resolved in a familial manner.
“The direction is not yet towards that (PAW) because it’s a personal or family matter. We are still giving the opportunity to resolve it in a familial way,” Saktico clarified.
It was previously reported that the PBB NTT Regional Leadership Council would soon issue a summons to Hengky Febrianus Loden. Hengky Loden is a member of the Kupang Regency DPRD who was raided with his paramour in a rented house in Oebufu Ward, Kupang City, NTT, on Sunday (29/3/2026) around 01:00 WITA.
“I’m still out of town and plan to return to Kupang on Thursday. So we will hold an internal DPW-level meeting to summon and request information from our member/cadre,” said DPW PBB NTT Chairman Saktico Masneno to detikBali on Monday (30/3/2025).
