President Prabowo Subianto’s 600 Sacrificial Meat Coupons for Students and Public
The K.H. Ahmad Dahlan Mosque committee at Muhammadiyah University of Kupang has prepared 600 sacrificial meat coupons provided by President Prabowo Subianto for distribution to the public and students in NTT. The meat will be distributed without regard to the recipients’ religious backgrounds. ‘We are distributing to the general public, including students. No distinction is made based on religion,’ said Farhan Suhada, coordinator of the sacrificial meat distribution at K.H. Ahmad Dahlan Mosque, on Tuesday, 26 May 2026.
Farhan explained that the 600 coupons will be distributed after Eid prayers and a symbolic handover by the NTT Governor. The public can collect coupons simply by visiting the mosque.
The sacrificial cattle provided by President Prabowo Subianto originate from Camplong in Fatuleu District, Kupang Regency. The five-year-old cow was previously kept by its owner before being transported to the slaughter site.
Meanwhile, Acting Head of the NTT Livestock Department Melky Angsar stated that NTT has been allocated 28 sacrificial cattle by President Prabowo Subianto. According to Melky, out of 23 regional governments receiving aid, four regencies each received two cattle because the animals’ weight did not reach one ton. ‘Four regencies receive two sacrificial cattle each from the president: Ngada, Ende, East Manggarai (Matim), Rote Ndao, and Central Sumba,’ Melky added.
