Kuntadi Proposed as Jampidsus, Previously Attended Meeting with Defence Minister
News has emerged that the head of the Attorney General’s Office’s Asset Forfeiture Agency (BPA), Kuntadi, has been proposed to become the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus). Kuntadi is projected by Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin to replace Febrie Adriansyah, who has resigned from the Jampidsus post. In addition to Kuntadi, the Attorney General has proposed Asep Nana Mulyana from the Junior Attorney General for General Crimes to become the Deputy Attorney General, and Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak to become the Head of the Attorney General’s Office Training Agency. According to the letter seen by Republika, the position of Head of the Asset Forfeiture Agency left by Kuntadi will be filled by Patris Yusrian Jaya. Patris currently serves as the Head of the High Prosecutor’s Office for DKI Jakarta. When asked about the news, Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives (DPR) Habiburokhman admitted he had not yet received the information. ‘I don’t know yet, but we’ll just see later, okay. Okay,’ he said at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (14/7/2026).
