Kuningan Regent Provides Compensation and Scholarships for Child Amputee Orphaned in Fatal Crash

The Regent of Kuningan, Dian Rachmat Yanuar, accompanied by his wife Ela Helayati, visited the family home of Lovanya Evelyn Kautsar in Sukarasa Village, Darma District, Kuningan Regency, to offer condolences and moral support following a devastating traffic accident. The fatal crash on the Gronggong-Cirebon highway claimed the lives of Lovanya’s father, Enggar Amicithya Kautsar, her mother, Neneng Intan Permatasari, and her baby sister, Naraya Anashera Kautsar. Lovanya, an 11-year-old primary school student, was the sole survivor of the incident. She is currently receiving intensive care at Gunung Jati Regional Hospital in Cirebon, where doctors were forced to amputate her leg on Tuesday (14/7/2026) due to severe injuries. During the visit, Regent Dian Rachmat Yanuar conveyed his deepest condolences on behalf of himself, his family, and the Kuningan Regency Government, while praying for the family’s strength and resilience in facing the tragedy.
