KuMining Expands Access to Proof-of-Work Infrastructure via KAS Cloud Mining
Proof-of-Work mining is increasingly reliant on specialised hardware, energy resources and professional management, making direct participation difficult for many individual users. KuMining, a cloud mining platform supported by global cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin, has launched KAS Cloud Mining to expand its multi-asset mining ecosystem while providing an easier way for eligible users to access professional-standard KAS mining infrastructure.
KAS is the native asset of Kaspa, a Proof-of-Work blockDAG network. KAS enters circulation through the mining process. With access to hashrate, users can participate in block production and network security as an alternative method to purchasing KAS directly on the secondary market.
KAS mining now relies on specialised ASIC hardware. To mine independently, users must purchase and ship equipment, arrange power supply and hosting facilities, configure mining pools, and handle equipment maintenance. KuMining combines these operational requirements into a more practical cloud mining service, giving users an easier choice between buying KAS and operating mining equipment themselves.
Eligible users can select contracts lasting from seven to 360 days and receive daily KAS mining yields that vary depending on the hashrate purchased and applicable product terms. The pool-based model provides a more sustainable and easily monitored mining experience compared with solo mining, which depends on probability. Users do not need to own or operate mining equipment themselves.
KAS Cloud Mining also uses KuMining’s ‘mine first, pay electricity later’ model. Users pay hashrate fees upfront, while electricity costs are paid periodically. This model reduces initial capital requirements and provides greater cash flow flexibility, although total mining costs are not necessarily lower.
‘Mining should be accessible to anyone who wants to participate, not just those with the resources to buy and operate specialised equipment,’ said Jolie Du, Chief Operating Officer of KuMining. ‘By introducing KAS Cloud Mining, we are providing a more practical way for users who want to engage in professional Proof-of-Work mining, as well as expanding KuMining’s multi-asset ecosystem. Our goal is to connect professional infrastructure with everyday users through a transparent and integrated experience.’
Because it is integrated with KuCoin, users can receive and manage mining yields without needing to switch between different mining pools, wallets and exchanges. The launch further extends the Trade → Earn → Mine journey, strengthening KuMining’s role as an easier gateway to professional mining infrastructure.
KAS Cloud Mining is now available to eligible users.
