A global executive delegation from KUKA Group, led by the Vice President of Midea Group, visited Centron last week. The delegation comprised KUKA Group leadership alongside various business executives from multiple countries and regions.

As a global supplier of industrial robots and automation solutions, KUKA’s visit alongside these executives highlights a shared interest between both parties in following the developments of smart assembly manufacturing. During the visit, both parties exchanged views on industrial progress, global market shifts, and potential synergy opportunities for future development.

The KUKA delegation was welcomed by Jed Wang, CEO of Leetx (a sister brand of Centron); Ouyang Su, General Manager of the Centron Product Line; Mike Wang, General Manager of the Centron Business Line; and Samuel Chen, Sales Director of Overseas Business. The KUKA executive team toured Centron’s manufacturing facilities to observe their product portfolio and capabilities in precision dispensing, potting, and trickling impregnation. They also received presentations regarding Leetx’s position in smart assembly technology, including tightening, press-fitting, and automatic screw feeding.

In a discussion session following the tour, both parties shared business experiences from various global markets. The discussions covered the development of the Chinese market, changing manufacturing requirements in overseas markets, the direction of the smart assembly manufacturing industry, and the technological roadmap for process equipment and robotic platforms.

Jed Wang, CEO of Leetx, stated, “We appreciate the opportunity to exchange views with KUKA, one of the world’s leading automation companies. The visit from KUKA’s global executive team provides a valuable opportunity for both parties to deepen understanding, share global market experiences, and explore future cooperation opportunities. As smart manufacturing evolves, cross-industry collaboration will become increasingly vital in driving innovation and unlocking new opportunities.”

The visit also reflects a growing trend in the industry: the convergence of industrial robot technology, precision dispensing, and smart assembly. As vehicle electrification accelerates and automation becomes more prevalent in vehicle assembly, electric battery production, and automotive components, the coordination between robotic platforms and process equipment is becoming increasingly critical to enhancing production quality, manufacturing efficiency, and process consistency. In light of these developments, Centron will continue to maintain open communication with partners throughout the value chain and monitor new opportunities in the smart assembly manufacturing sector.
