Kudus Regional Levies Reach Rp215.34 Billion, 2026 Target Believed Achievable
The Kudus Regency Government in Central Java has recorded regional levy revenue of Rp215.34 billion from January to July 2026. This realisation reached 61.16 percent of this year’s regional levy target of Rp352.1 billion.
Head of the Kudus Regency Regional Revenue, Finance and Asset Management Agency (BPPKAD) Djati Solechah said the local government is optimistic about pursuing the remaining target in the final five months of 2026.
“The levy target for 2026 is Rp352.1 billion, so we are optimistic that by the end of the year we can meet the annual target,” Djati said in Kudus on Saturday.
The Rp215.34 billion in revenue came from three main groups: general service levies, business service levies, and certain licensing levies.
The largest contributor came from general service levies, with a realisation of Rp206.6 billion or 62.01 percent of the Rp333.18 billion target. As such, the general service levy group accounted for nearly all of Kudus’s regional levy revenue up to July.
“General service levies reached Rp206.6 billion or 62.01 percent of the Rp333.18 billion target. Meanwhile, business service levies reached Rp7.81 billion or 46.3 percent of the Rp16.87 billion target,” Djati said.
Meanwhile, revenue from certain licensing levies reached Rp910.67 million or 45.05 percent of the Rp2.02 billion target.
General service levies are sourced from health services, cleaning or waste services, parking services, and market services.
Business service levies include special parking area services, accommodation, slaughterhouse services, recreation and sports venues, sales of regional business products, and utilisation of regional assets.
Certain licensing levies include building approval levies and levies on the use of foreign workers.
Levy realisation in July showed a significant increase compared to the end of June 2026. BPPKAD previously recorded levy revenue up to the first half of the year at Rp165.72 billion or 47.07 percent of the target. With the realisation of Rp215.34 billion at the end of July, there was an additional revenue of approximately Rp49.62 billion in just one month.
