Kudus Regency Promotes Anti-Corruption Campaign via KIVFEST 2026
We are not perfect, but we continue to improve, evaluate, and introspect ourselves while inviting the community to say no to corruption.
Kudus (ANTARA) - The Kudus Regency Government, Central Java, is campaigning for an anti-corruption movement through the Kudus Integrity Video Festival (KIVFEST) 202<0xE2><0x80><0x89>6, involving regional apparatus organisations (OPD), educational institutions, and the general public.
“The KIVFEST Celebration 2026, held on Friday (11/9) evening, serves as a momentum to appreciate the commitment of OPDs and public bodies towards the implementation of public information transparency,” said the Regent of Kudus, Sam’ani Intakoris, in Kudus on Saturday.
He urged that the anti-corruption message must not stop at being a mere slogan, but must grow into a culture within both government administration and society.
According to him, collaboration, openness, the courage to accept criticism, and the willingness to continuously undergo evaluation are essential parts of building a Kudus Regency that is increasingly integral and trusted by the community.
“Learning not to corrupt, we continue to echo the anti-corruption message in Kudus. We are not perfect, but we continue to organise, improve, evaluate, and introspect ourselves, and invite the community to say no to corruption,” he stated.
Through KIVFEST 2026, every OPD and educational institution is required to be creative in delivering messages of integrity and anti-corruption through audiovisual works involving elements of government, educational units, and the community.
Sam’ani emphasised that building an anti-corruption culture requires a consistent process. The Regency Government must not assume perfection and must continue to perform evaluations and improvements.
He also noted that strengthening integrity must be accompanied by openness to criticism and input from various elements of society.
“With this festival, we are ready to be corrected and ready to receive input, whether from NGOs, the press, or the public. I, along with the Vice Regent of Kudus, Mbak Bellinda, the OPD, and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), realise that nothing is perfect,” he said.
He also invited the entire community to support the creation of integrity in Kudus Regency. The anti-corruption spirit is not enough to be echoed by the government alone; it needs to become a collective movement involving all elements of society.
“Let us together support the creation of integrity in Kudus Regency. Through togetherness, we build Kudus Regency,” he urged.
In addition to the anti-corruption campaign through audiovisual works, KIVFEST 2026 also featured a stand-up comedy community. The public was given space to convey criticism regarding the administration of the Kudus Regency Government.
During the event, several audiovisual works for anti-corruption campaigns and education received awards. Awards were presented for categories including educational units, general public, government, and “most consistent creator.”
The Kudus Regency Government also presented awards for public information transparency to several regional apparatus organisations (OPD).
