KSSK to Involve Danantara Following President Prabowo's Directive

Jakarta - Bank Indonesia’s Acting Governor, Destry Damayanti, stated that President Prabowo Subianto has directed the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) to strengthen inter-agency coordination and involve the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara) in economic policy discussions. Destry conveyed that the directive was given by President Prabowo during a meeting with KSSK members, comprising Bank Indonesia, the Ministry of Finance, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), along with Danantara, at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Monday.

“We were invited as KSSK, plus Danantara. The essence is that going forward, KSSK must continue to enhance coordination and cooperation, particularly regarding policies where each of us has measures that need to be coordinated,” Destry said after the meeting. She noted that President Prabowo stressed the importance of improving coordination and cooperation among KSSK members, especially in aligning policies under each institution’s authority.

Furthermore, KSSK was asked to continue supporting the government in line with established policy directions to achieve national development targets. “We will also collectively provide support, with KSSK backing the government according to the policy direction that has become the government’s line for achieving its goals,” she added.

Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani stated that President Prabowo directed for Danantara to be involved in every KSSK decision-making process, so that resulting policies consider not only fiscal and monetary aspects but also their impact on the business world and the overall economy. “KSSK has been asked to involve Danantara in every decision, so it has a direct impact on the economy and business, not just from the fiscal and monetary side,” Rosan said. He confirmed that, in accordance with President Prabowo’s directive, Danantara will attend KSSK meetings regularly. According to Rosan, Danantara’s involvement in the forum is a first.
