Jakarta – A court hearing related to the Survey, Investigation, and Design (SID) document for a port project has resumed, focusing on an in-depth examination of technical and administrative aspects. The session aimed to clarify the document preparation process and the administrative mechanisms central to the case.

PT Kawan Selaras Sejahtera (KSS) President Director, Rudi Urip Santosa Basuki, stated that the hearing featured a technical witness from the consultant involved in preparing the SID document. According to Rudi, the panel of judges and the parties used the session to thoroughly explore the document’s preparation process, including the guidelines and technical standards employed by the consultant.

“Today’s hearing presented a technical witness from the SID preparation team. The consultant was summoned and answered various questions regarding the document preparation framework and the technical standards used,” Rudi told reporters after the session.

The discussion extended beyond the final document to cover the stages and methodology of its preparation. Rudi noted that the technical witness’s testimony was crucial in providing a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and procedural aspects of the SID planning process.

In addition to the technical witness, the court also heard from a State Administrative Law (TUN) expert. The expert was asked to provide an opinion on government administrative mechanisms, specifically concerning official communication and the delivery of formal documents to interested parties.

Rudi explained that a key topic of the hearing was a letter purportedly addressed to PT KSS. However, the company maintained that it never directly received the document. Court testimony revealed that the letter was allegedly sent to the consultant involved in drafting the project documents. Consequently, PT KSS sought the TUN expert’s view on the proper administrative procedures for delivering official correspondence.
