KSPI Reports Over 25,000 Workers Yet to Receive Eid Holiday Allowance Seven Days Before Idul Fitri
JAKARTA – The Indonesian Confederation of Trade Unions reported that more than 25,000 workers have not received their Tunjangan Hari Raya (Eid Holiday Allowance) ahead of Idul Fitri 2026.
KSPI President Said Iqbal stated that the data comes from reports received by the Workers’ Party Orange Post, which is operated jointly by KSPI and the Workers’ Party.
“From the reports received by the Orange Post of the Workers’ Party and KSPI, more than—I repeat—more than 25,000 workers have not received the Eid Holiday Allowance,” said Said during a virtual press conference on Friday, 13 March 2026.
He considered that employers are obligated to fulfil this requirement immediately.
Some of the 25,000 workers who have not received the holiday allowance are employed by several companies in West Java. These include workers at PT Wiska in Bandung, who have reportedly also not received salaries for the past three months.
“They haven’t even been paid for three months of wages. Indeed, they have promised to pay the Eid Holiday Allowance, but the three months of wages for PT Wiska employees in Bandung have not been paid,” said Said.
In addition, reports have also come from workers at PT IB in Bandung, PT Namasinso in West Bandung, and PT Sinaurup in Bogor.
Similar cases have also been reported among workers at PT Amos Indah Indonesia in Cakung, East Jakarta.
“The largest case is in Bogor, specifically in Bogor Citeureup, with PT Riky Spotindo. At Riky Spotindo, approximately 2,000 employees have not been paid the Eid Holiday Allowance or their wages,” said Said.
