Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the Presidential Staff, retired General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, has emphasised that the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) is involved in overseeing and evaluating the implementation of government priority programmes, including identifying obstacles encountered in the field and helping to strengthen coordination between ministries and institutions.

The government priority programmes under KSP’s spotlight include the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme, the People’s School (SR), and other initiatives related to public welfare launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

“Priority programmes such as Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), People’s School, and other welfare initiatives continue to be monitored in their implementation. KSP is pushing for the acceleration of resolving obstacles through coordination with relevant ministries and institutions,” said the Head of the Presidential Staff to reporters in Jakarta on Saturday.

Dudung explained that the main objective of KSP’s direct oversight of government programme implementation is to ensure that these programmes are carried out in accordance with the policies set by President Prabowo.

“Later, the findings from KSP in the field will serve as the basis for the Presidential Staff Office to strengthen policy coordination. As a result, programme implementation will remain on the path aligned with the goals and wishes of the President,” he stated.

Dudung added that KSP also prioritises a data-based approach and field reports when monitoring government programme implementation, so that every improvement step can be carried out in a measurable and targeted manner.

Not only that, Dudung also believes that government programmes run well can strengthen public trust in government policies.

In more than one year, President Prabowo has launched several priority programmes, including the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme, People’s School (SR), Red and White Village/Urban Ward Cooperative, Red and White Fishermen’s Village/Camp, people’s housing, food self-sufficiency, energy independence and resilience.
