KSP Supports Acceleration of SR Development in Pasuruan City
The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) fully supports the acceleration of the East Java 3 People’s School (SR) construction project in Pasuruan City to ensure it is completed before the inauguration on 20 June 2026. “We are here to affirm our support for the construction, and after seeing the conditions on the ground, we are optimistic that the Pasuruan City People’s School construction project can be completed on target,” said Senior Advisor (SA) of Deputy IV KSP Armindo Dos Santos Soares to ANTARA in Pasuruan City on Friday. According to him, all relevant parties in the project are committed to overcoming the main obstacle regarding the availability of workforce numbers to carry out the construction project. He stated that the current implementers of the Pasuruan City People’s School project have increased the number of worker shifts to boost productivity. He emphasised that KSP will continue to provide support to all relevant parties to ensure that President Prabowo Subianto’s strategic programme can be carried out well and benefit the community. “We will continue to fully support all relevant parties because time is limited, so all parties must go all out,” he said. Meanwhile, Pasuruan City Mayor Adi Wibowo stated that the construction of the Pasuruan City People’s School has a positive impact on the local economy by attracting thousands of workers from the surrounding community. He is also optimistic that the project can be completed on time with the support from various institutions. For information, the construction of the Pasuruan City People’s School is one of the Phase II People’s School projects that will be inaugurated on 20 June 2026. The Pasuruan City SR is being built in Purworejo Ward on a 7.3-hectare plot of land, with a capacity for up to 1,000 students from primary school (SD), junior high school (SMP), to senior high school (SMA) levels, integrated for deciles 1 and 2 of the National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN).
