KSP Says MBG Programme Has Many Corruption Vulnerabilities: One of Them is the Buying and Selling of Locations
Jakarta – Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP), General TNI (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman, has stated that the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme has numerous corruption vulnerabilities.
“There are many loopholes (for corruption), many loopholes,” Dudung told reporters at the KSP Office in Central Jakarta on Tuesday, 4 May 2026.
One corruption vulnerability in the MBG programme, he said, is the buying and selling of land locations for constructing Nutritious Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) or MBG kitchens.
“Yes, one of them is that I received information about the buying and selling of locations. Yes, there is that, one of them. Later, I will look into whether it is the buying and selling of SPPG locations or kitchen locations,” he said.
On the other hand, Dudung has received instructions from President Prabowo Subianto regarding national priority programmes, such as the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) and the Red White Village Cooperative.
Dudung affirmed that he will personally intervene to check all such national priority programmes. He will collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
“Yes, the President directed me, ‘Mr Dudung, try to check it.’ Because these national priority programmes are one way to ensure the President’s flagship priorities, one of which is MBG, then the Red White Cooperative, and we will check them. So, I will reactivate collaboration with relevant stakeholders,” Dudung said.
Dudung promised to report the latest developments regarding these national priority programmes.
“Please pray for me. Later, if I find something, I will immediately reveal it to the reporters. Just report who the perpetrators are, who is not right, yes. Because this is people’s money, the people must know,” he stated.
