KSP Reports 13 Million Indonesians Have Received Free Health Screening Benefits
Jakarta — The Presidential Chief of Staff Muhammad Qodari reported that as of Sunday (8 March), 13.83 million people had registered for the Free Health Check (CKG) programme, with 13.05 million already receiving services.
“By March 2026, the number of people registered to receive CKG services is 13,826,978 and those who have undergone or received CKG benefits total 13,051,027 people,” said Qodari during a press conference on the Implementation Update of the Best Results Fast Implementation Programme (PHTC) and Preparations for Lebaran Holiday Travel at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Wednesday.
During January–February 2026, the CKG programme served 10,563,593 people across 9,543 health centres distributed across 514 districts and cities. Of this total, the largest group — 714,808 participants, or approximately 8.6 per cent — received treatment and care, whilst 7.5 million others are undergoing follow-up treatment.
Qodari stated that the government is engaging 10,300 health centres with support from 66 ministries and agencies to achieve the target of 130 million beneficiaries, representing 46 per cent of Indonesia’s total population, receiving CKG services.
According to him, the CKG programme is a step to expand public access to basic healthcare services whilst strengthening a preventative approach.
Through the CKG programme, President Prabowo Subianto is inviting the public to undergo free health examinations without charge.
Furthermore, Qodari conveyed that the government will also implement CKG for drivers during the outbound and return journey periods for Lebaran 2026.
Based on preliminary data as of Monday (9 March) from the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, 338 drivers have undergone CKG across 16 bus operator pools and terminals in Central Java and West Java.
The government will continue expanding to other regions, with projections that driver CKG numbers this year will increase compared to previous years.
Qodari noted that the number of drivers undergoing CKG during Lebaran travel has increased year on year. In 2024, 4,019 drivers underwent CKG, whilst in 2025 the figure reached 7,476 people.
“The objective is to ensure all travellers during the holiday are transported by healthy drivers,” added Qodari.
