KSP ensures smooth fuel distribution to prevent long queues
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), retired General Dudung Abdurachman, inspected fuel distribution at the Plumpang fuel terminal in Jakarta on Monday to prevent long queues. “My task at KSP is important to ensure there are no shortages, long queues, or supply disruptions in the community,” Dudung said at the Plumpang Terminal. He stated that the Plumpang Terminal plays a vital role in maintaining the reliability of fuel supplies at petrol stations, as it is one of the main energy distribution hubs for DKI Jakarta and its surrounding areas. The readiness of Plumpang, he added, is a key indicator of energy supply resilience in the Greater Jakarta area. “If the Plumpang Fuel Terminal operates well, energy distribution for Jakarta and its surroundings will also be more controlled,” he said. Based on operational data from Pertamina Patra Niaga, the Plumpang Terminal has a storage capacity of approximately 324,000 kilolitres. “This terminal has a major role in maintaining fuel supply continuity. Plumpang Terminal serves more than a thousand distribution agencies and channels. Its coverage is very extensive,” Dudung said. Therefore, he continued, KSP directly inspected the reliability of the Plumpang Terminal to ensure that fuel distribution to the public is supervised and guaranteed to run smoothly. In addition to ensuring distribution reliability, KSP also monitored the fuel quality testing mechanism at the terminal’s laboratory. “Testing is carried out from visual inspection to quality parameters, such as RON, and the fuel reaching the public must fully comply with standards,” Dudung said. Dudung was present at the Plumpang Terminal and conducted the inspection accompanied by the Head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) Wahyudi Anas, Director of Business Planning and Growth of Pertamina Patra Niaga Joko Pranoto, and Director of Downstream and Distribution Optimisation of Pertamina Patra Niaga Hari Purnomo.
