KSP Dudung to Closely Monitor MBG: If Implementation is Incorrect, I Will Cut It Down!
Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Dudung Abdurachman has stated that he will be firm in “cutting down” improper practices in the implementation of President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programmes, such as Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) and People’s School. Dudung explained that as the leader of the Presidential Staff Office, he is tasked with serving as a bridge between the public and the government and conducting oversight when there are reports from the public regarding various government programmes. “Including national priority programmes and flagship national programmes, the President’s flagship programmes such as MBG, People’s School, and so on,” Dudung said at the opening of the VII Congress of the Indonesian Christian Intelligentsia Union (PIKI) in Jakarta on Thursday (30/4). “If the implementation in the field is not correct, I will cut it down later,” Dudung added. On that occasion, the former Army Chief of Staff also conveyed the importance of national insight as a pillar of national resilience. Reflecting on the current global situation where many conflicts occur due to various backgrounds, Indonesia, which consists of various ethnicities, groups, and religions, must be very important in maintaining unity and integrity. In particular, he warned against the content on various social media that uses provocative language and spreads misleading information. Misleading information, if repeatedly conveyed, can be perceived as truth. “Therefore, let us keep our eyes and ears open to continue listening and seeing, but to positive things. Not getting carried away by misleading information,” Dudung stated.
