I have come here to ensure that the programmes of the President and Vice President of Indonesia are operating well here.

Medan (ANTARA) - The Chief of Staff to the President (KSP), Dudung Abdurachman, inspected the Integrated People’s School I in Serdang Bedagai (Sergai) Regency, North Sumatra, to ensure that central government programmes are operating optimally.

“I have come here to ensure that the programmes of the President and Vice President of Indonesia are operating well here,” said Dudung after inspecting the Integrated People’s School I in Sergai on Monday.

Dudung stated that the inspection of this priority programme is being actively promoted by the central government across Indonesia, including in North Sumatra.

“Currently, I am personally checking the People’s School in Sergai. Our task is to ensure that the programme is operating as it should,” he said.

During the inspection, Dudung had the opportunity to directly observe the facilities and infrastructure, including the learning processes at the People’s School.

He noted that the teaching and learning processes in the region are running optimally, in line with the duties and responsibilities directed by the central government.

“The findings from this inspection will be reported to the relevant ministries,” Dudung mentioned.

The Regent of Sergai, Darma Wijaya, stated that KSP Dudung’s visit serves as a momentum to enhance coordination between the local and central governments.

“We fully support all central government programmes, including the optimisation of the People’s School in Serdang Bedagai,” he said.

The Head of the Integrated People’s School I Sergai, Edy, stated that the school under his leadership has 300 students.

“The students range from Primary School (SD) to Senior High School (SMA). There are 300 students in total,” said Edy.
