KSP Dudung Helps BGN Monitor MBG Programme, Hopes No One Will Profit Illegally

JAKARTA — Presidential Staff Office Chief Dudung Abdurachman said he would help supervise the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme run by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). He spoke after receiving a visit from BGN head Dadan Hindayana, who reported on the situation, the working mechanism, and notable aspects. ‘And I told him that the KSP will tightly monitor and oversee the President’s flagship programme,’ Dudung said after meeting the BGN head at his office in Jakarta on Tuesday, 19 May 2026. With this oversight, Dudung hopes there will be no individuals who manipulate profits at BGN. During the meeting, the BGN chief also asked for help so that the KSP could participate in oversight. Dudung said the agency and BGN would continue to strengthen the existing synergy. ‘BGN also asked to be assisted with oversight because there are quite a lot of issues. And this will be escalated again,’ he said. In addition, he said he had also met Vice President Gibran Rakabuming before meeting the BGN head. In talks with the Vice President, they discussed addressing problems at BGN. He hoped there would be no further issues in the president’s flagship programme. ‘Well, this will get better because this is a priority programme of the President that we must support, because it is very beneficial for children,’ Dudung said.
