Presidential Chief of Staff Dudung Abdurachman said KSP continues strengthening its role in monitoring priority programs, managing strategic issues, facilitating inter-agency coordination, and providing recommendations to the president.

“Under the new KSP period, all deputy offices have actively carried out verification activities,” Dudung said during a parliamentary hearing in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He said KSP oversees 17 national priority programs, including food, energy and water self-sufficiency, state revenue reforms, political and bureaucratic reforms, and anti-corruption efforts.

The monitored programs also include anti-drug measures, improvements to public healthcare services and medicine access, education and technology strengthening, digitalization, and national defense.

Other priorities include gender equality, protection of women, children and persons with disabilities, environmental preservation, and direct access to fertilizers, seeds and pesticides for farmers.

KSP also oversees affordable housing development, economic equality, SME strengthening, downstream industries, interfaith harmony, and programs supporting culture, creative industries and sports achievements.

Besides field supervision, Dudung said KSP has prepared 56 monitoring reports covering programs and daily issues, along with 15 daily reports submitted to the president since April 28, 2026.

He added that KSP also facilitates cross-sector policy coordination to ensure national priority programs are implemented in an integrated manner, avoid overlap, and remain aligned with development priorities.
