Krom Bank Reports 159% Increase in Social Programme Realisation
PT Krom Bank Indonesia Tbk has realised Rp144.53 million in social development programmes throughout 2025. This value represents an increase of approximately 159 percent compared to the realisation in 2024, which amounted to Rp55.8 million.
President Director of PT Krom Bank Indonesia Tbk, Anton Hermawan, stated that the realisation was allocated to four areas: education, economic empowerment including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), environment and social affairs, and health.
‘KROMOVEMENT is not just a programme name, but a movement that invites all Krom Bank personnel to create positive change together. We believe that corporate success must go hand in hand with tangible contributions to society. Through this movement, we aim to continuously deliver sustainable benefits and be part of the journey to build a better future for Indonesia,’ Anton said in a written statement on Tuesday.
Anton explained that the education programme is directed at supporting the improvement of learning quality and developing the potential of the younger generation. Meanwhile, the economic empowerment programme focuses on strengthening MSMEs, while the environmental and social sector includes environmental conservation activities and sustainable development. In the health sector, the company carries out various social activities aimed at improving public welfare.
According to Anton, community development, financial literacy and inclusion, and MSME empowerment are the company’s sustainability focus as outlined in the 2025 Sustainability Report.
In addition to the increase in social programme realisation, Krom Bank recorded a customer satisfaction index of 88.1 percent in 2025, up from 84.6 percent in the previous year.
‘Through KROMOVEMENT, PT Krom Bank Indonesia Tbk reaffirms its commitment to growing together with the community, delivering innovation not only in digital banking services but also in creating social value that benefits both current and future generations,’ Anton said.
